New Paper Published in Studies in Hispanic and Lusophone Linguistics

My article, “Accounting for effects of monitored speech: vowel nasalization, nasal consonant weakening and /s/ production in Spanish,” has been published in Studies in Hispanic and Lusophone Linguistics.

The paper explores how speakers of Dominican and Argentine Spanish adjust their pronunciation under formal speech conditions, using /s/ production as a reference point to probe /n/ weakening and anticipatory vowel nasalization.
